Not what it say it is, U have to pay for a membership and the money thats on guarantee pay that solo covers You have to use Tokens to get paid. Can only be on 1 gig job per hour no multi app, Hello we are independent contractors its our jobs.

False advertisement. they make you pay to use it, its almost impossible to cancel your subscription after the free trial and it doesn't actually do anything useful. it just takes up space on your phone and drains your battery to the point on no return. every single bit of info tracked or kept by this app is the exact same stuff you can get thru the Uber, dasher or w.e app you already use for deliveries. and they clearly cant handle this based on the replies to other reviews they're so "busy"

Summary of Key Insights

The Solo app aims to help gig workers manage income, track expenses, and guarantee daily pay. However, user reviews paint a largely negative picture. • Battery-Efficient Tracking Solution: A lightweight mileage and income tracker that minimizes battery drain.
  • Gig Worker Community Platform: A platform that connects gig workers, provides resources, and advocates for their rights. This could integrate with existing gig platforms or operate independently.

Trends and Observations

  • Negative Sentiment Dominates: The overall sentiment is overwhelmingly negative, indicating significant issues with the app's value proposition and execution.
  • Recurring Billing Complaints: The recurring theme of unexpected charges and difficult cancellations suggests a systemic problem with the app's billing practices.
  • Focus on Cost: Many users are price-sensitive and unwilling to pay for features they can find elsewhere for free.
  • Distrust: The negative reviews and reports of misleading advertising have created a sense of distrust among users.

Conclusion

The Solo app faces significant challenges due to negative user reviews and a perception of being misleading and overpriced. Addressing the billing issues, improving advertising transparency, and enhancing customer support are critical for regaining user trust. Re-evaluating the pricing model and offering free basic functionality could also attract more users. Without significant improvements, the app is unlikely to succeed in the long term. The developers should prioritize fixing the core issues before adding new features.

Overall Recommendation: The current app is not recommended in its present state. Users should exercise caution before subscribing. The developers need to address the numerous complaints and improve the app's value proposition.
