As a longtime user of both Shotlister (all my FunnyorDie shorts) and Scriptation (both features), I was thrilled when they announced app integration. Now, each one is synced up when there are script changes, reflecting the difference in page length in each app. And when I’m doing my shot list, one simple click will take me back to the script in Scriptation to make sure I haven’t forgotten anything. A perfect, flawless integration and absolutely vital for directors.

I’ve been using Scriptation for about 4 years and there is no better or more flexible program than this one. I work in Live TV and we get a lot of revisions. Scriptation makes my life so much easier that I can transfer all of my notes in a matter of seconds, it shows me what’s changed between versions. The stamps are customizable and so helpful when camera shots and shooting patterns are the same. I’m amazed at all the things this program can do and I know I don’t take advantage of all those cool things. It’s, hands down, my favorite program at work.

I got this app back in like may of 2024 and it’s been with me ever since. Whether I’m directing, learning lines, or working on a script I wrote, this app can do it all. Subscription is a little high, but for my work in theatre, it’s proven to be priceless.
