I’ve been using Sizzle for just over a month now and when I say it has saved me in the kitchen I am not kidding. I have a folder of hundreds of saved recipes/meal prep videos on tik tok and instagram that I never used to watch. With sizzle I can upload it directly and it gives me a written out recipe which is CLUTCH so I don’t have to watch a video over and over again. I’ve started to use the ingredient delivery feature which has helped so so much on busy days. I’ll plan my meal and order ingredients at work and they’re ready for me when I get home. If you are trying to hit your goals but have a tight schedule this app is for you!!!

It seems like a great idea. I’m sure it’s a great app and all but just within the first 5 minutes of having it, the app has already crashed about 10 times :/

This is such a cool concept. I’ve been trying to cook more meals for myself and it’s kind of nice to have the video, ingredients, directions, etc in the same place as opposed to having to search for a website. The grocery and AI feature have been great as well!

Conclusion

Sizzle has a strong value proposition and positive user sentiment, particularly among those seeking convenient meal planning and recipe discovery. However, technical issues and concerns about the subscription model are hindering its potential. Addressing these issues and implementing frequently requested features will be crucial for driving user growth and retention. The app's reliance on social media content also presents an opportunity to diversify recipe sources and develop unique features that differentiate it from competitors. Sizzle shows great potential but needs to prioritize reliability and user experience to achieve long-term success.

Overall Recommendation: Prioritize fixing bugs and improving the app's technical stability, then focus on adding website recipe import and enhanced organization features.
