2 years ago the price of premium was 2.49 or so. Now it’s 7 dollars. That’s an absolutely absurd price increase for this.

I like the app quite a bit but it seems to have issues fully loading lately. It took a long time today to load enough so I could see where the cache was supposed to be. And the cell signal was strong so that wasn’t the problem.

Best hobby I have ever developed. All the useful app features and the creativity of everything is just amazing. Although premium isn’t even that expensive for a whole year of an amazing experience, the fact that you basically need it to play is what throws many people off. But still, if anyone is reading this and thinking about trying it— just do it, I’ll promise you make memories. And if the cache owner is rude or you cannot find the geocache does not mean the app deserves to be rated 1 star, cause that can happen sometimes.

Conclusion

The Geocaching app holds significant potential as a tool for outdoor exploration and community engagement. By focusing on these key areas, the app can attract new users, retain existing ones, and solidify its position as the leading platform for geocaching enthusiasts. A more balanced approach between monetization and user experience is crucial for the long-term success of the app.
